Is your business operating internationally? Is your kitchen staff multilingual? Or your clients? Don't worry... Apicbase has got you covered. This article will teach you everything you need to know about ingredients- and recipe translations.
In Apicbase you can set ingredient and recipe translations. On an ingredient level, you will be able to set a translation for the name of the ingredient and the short name of the ingredient. Users will be able to see the translations in the recipes you have created.
On a recipe level, you can set a translation for the recipe name and for the preparation steps. These steps will also be shown if users check the recipes in Apicbase.
First of all, you need to enable translations in your library settings. Click the 'settings' symbol in the upper right corner of your screen. Next, click on 'library'.
Now you're in library settings, click the 'Translations'-tab.
Under this tab, you can manage everything regarding translations.
- Enable translations for ingredients and recipes: Checking this box will allow you to add translations to your ingredients and recipes.
- Choose the languages available in your library: the languages you pick here will be available to fill in for translations.
- Set the default language for your library: the language chosen here will be displayed as default in APICBASE.
