How to connect Planday with Apicbase

In this article, you will find how you can import your Planday labor cost data into Apicbases

Settings in Planday:

  1. Go to "Settings" 
  2. Select "Integrations" and then go to "API access"Untitled (2)Untitled (3)
  3. On the page, you will have to add a new app
    1. Set the name for the new app as: Apicbase
    2. The redirect URL is:
  4. The scopes that you need to fill in are the following ones
    1. HR: READ
    2. Scheduling: ALL
    3. Payroll: ALLUntitled-1Untitled (1)
  5. Then click "Authorize" and the new app will be created, you will also get an "App ID" and a "Token". These you will need later on Apicbase.


Settings in Apicbase:

  1. To activate the integration, you will need to go to "Setting" --> "Outlet settings"
  2. Choose the outlet where you want to activate the integration for.

  4. Then go to the "Integrations" tab. 
  5. Now select Planday as the HR tool you want to use.Screen Shot 2022-10-26 at 12.33.09 PM
  6. Now fill in the "App ID" and "Token" that was created in Planday. 
  7. Now click on "Fetch Departments" and select the department that needs to be linked to the outlet.
  8. When you did all these steps click on "Save"
  9. Now when you go to the sales dashboard and click on "Bring me to the old sales dashboard" you will have your Planday data available in the dashboard.
