1. General Information

  • Scope: Gordon Food Service (GFS) is a major foodservice distributor in North America, serving both independent operators and multi-unit chains.
    • With the Apicbase–GFS integration you can:
      • Sync your customer-specific GFS assortment into Apicbase

      • Place orders directly from Apicbase to Gordon Food Service

      • Note: Order status and updates are visible in Gordon's platform only

2. Product Assortment

  • Assortment type: Customer-specific, only the articles inside your contract with GFS, agreed with your account manager, will be available in Apicbase.
  • Assortment Management: to modify your assortment (add or remove articles), you must contact your Account Manager at GFS.
    • Note that asking your account manager to delete an item from the assortment doesn't delete it from Apicbase, it only makes the article unorderable. You can archive it manually in Apicbase if necessary.
  • Prices: as agreed by contract with the supplier for the corresponding products, otherwise the standard price indicated by GFS.
  • Product information:
    • Product name and internal GFS code

    • Pack size and units (e.g. 6 × 1 kg, 24 × 355 ml)

    • Supplier package (case/each)

    • Pricing per package

    • Brand information

The exact data points depend on what Gordon Food Service provides in the feed, but all core ordering and packaging information required for purchasing is included.

3. Ordering Details

GFS allows ordering with the regular capabilities of a supplier integration.
