Scheduling a Run for an Existing Plan
Scheduling a production run is a function to help you plan and organize preparations. By selecting specific dates, applying correct filters, and integrating new or existing plans, you can ensure timely and accurate production. This process helps streamline operations and meet your needs effectively.
Here are the steps on how you can schedule a production run:
Step 1: You can schedule Production Run by clicking the More button and select the Schedule Plan action:
Step 2: You need to select the date of the Production Run. Please note that dates can only be scheduled from today onwards.
Step 3: You also need to select a time for the Production Run to complete the plan.
Step 4: Don’t forget to click the Schedule button to save the Production Run.
Once you scheduled it, you will find that below the name of the main Production Plan, the Production Run details are stated. In addition, you will find the calendar icon beside the ‘Ready’ status which indicates that it is scheduled. Finally, you will find a section that indicates the ‘Scheduled For’ information that contains the date and time you have set prior.
How to edit the date/time of the Scheduled Run
To edit the date and/or time of a scheduled Production Run, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Click the edit button of the scheduled run that can be find beside the run information:
Step 2: You may now change the primary date and/or time of the scheduled production run:
Step 3: After the change, don’t forget to click the Update button to make sure that the changes will reflect as expected:
Note: If you click Cancel, the changes will not be applied and the prior schedule will be followed by the production run. If you click Remove Schedule, the date and time will be deleted but production plan will remain and you will no longer be able to edit or add date and time.
If you click Schedule Plan, the system will generate another production plan instead.
