Hanos

Hanos is one of the main food suppliers in The Netherlands and Belgium. In this article, you will find relevant information on the integration between Hanos and Apicbase.

1. General Information

  • Scope: Hanos has distribution centers serving customers in the Netherlands and northern Belgium.
  • Website: hanos.nl

2. Product Assortment

  • Assortment type: The Hanos Assortment is handled via the Assortment Manager (Procurement > Assortment Manager). You will find a different Assortment Manager page per Customer Number in your library. There you will find:
    • A Customer-specific list (Positievoorstel), under the tab with the truck icon. Only the articles inside your contract with Hanos, agreed with your account manager, will be on this list.
    • The Full Assortment of your corresponding Hanos center. By creating extra lists, you can add extra articles within the Hanos assortment and link them to your outlet.
  • Syncing Frequency: we fetch the latest data of the assortment daily (6.00-8.00h CET).
  • Assortment Management: you can modify your assortment in two ways.
    • By creating extra lists on the Assortment Manager page. You can do this by clicking the + button next to your Positievoorstel list (1), then giving it a name and click on Create (2).

      After creating the new list, you can click on Add Products, and you will be shown the full assortment of the Hanos centre assigned to your Customer number. There you can search and select the articles you need (1) then click Add (2) to add them to the list.


      Once the list is created, don't forget to click on Link to Outlets and assign this list to the corresponding Outlets. Only then the articles will appear in the Ingredient List (Products > Ingredients).

    • By contacting your Account Manager at Hanos to make changes in your automatically created, customer-specific list (Positievoorstel).
      • Note that asking your account manager to delete an item from the assortment, or removing an item from a list created by yourself, doesn't delete it from Apicbase, it only makes the article unorderable. You can archive it manually in Apicbase if necessary.
  • Prices: as agreed by contract with the supplier for the corresponding products, otherwise the standard price indicated by Hanos.

3. Ordering Details

Hanos allows ordering with the regular capabilities of a supplier integration.

4. Onboarding

To activate and get onboarded with this integration, please contact your CS Manager. They will guide you through the necessary steps to set up the integration.
