      Auto Focus versus Manual Focus on the Studio

      In the APIC Studio you can switch between autofocus and Touch focus. Discover in this article how.

      Starting from APIC studio version 1.2 (release 25 March 2015) you can switch between Automatic Focus and Manual (touch) Focus by tapping the Touch Focus icon on the left. When the icon is black, Touch Focus is disabled and Automatic Focus is enabled. When the icon is yellow, Touch Focus is enabled and Automatic Focus is disabled.

      When Touch Focus is enabled:

      • Tap in the viewfinder window to focus on the item you want to sharpen.
      • A yellow square will appear to show where the camera is focusing.
      • Tap again in the viewfinder to refocus.
