1. General Information

  • Scope: Kespro is the largest food supplier in Finland. They serve over 25,000 customers with a product range of approximately 55,000 items. Their customer base includes both private hospitality businesses and public-sector organisations.
    • The Apicbase–Kespro integration allows customers to import a customer-specific product assortment (defined via Kespro’s “Tarjooma” service) and place integrated orders directly with Kespro from Apicbase.

  • Important Notes:
    • Kespro’s subsidiaries Kalatukku E. Eriksson and Reinin Liha are not supported in this integration because they operate separate ERPs.

    • Only one product list per location can be shared with Apicbase.

    • The customer must prepare and manage their own product list in Tarjooma, which is the source of the assortment file.

2. Product Assortment

  • Assortment Type: Customer-specific. The customer defines their own product list in Kespro’s Tarjooma service, and this list is shared with Apicbase.
  • Syncing Frequency: Once the product list is selected for sharing, and the connection is validated, the assortment is synced automatically to Apicbase via the overnight sync.
  • Assortment Management: Customers manage their assortment directly in Tarjooma. Any edits to the list (add/remove products) will automatically update the Apicbase catalogue after the next overnight sync.
    • Note that deleting an item from the assortment doesn't delete it from Apicbase, it only makes the article unorderable. You can archive it manually in Apicbase if necessary.
  • Prices:  as agreed by contract with the supplier for the corresponding products, otherwise the standard price indicated by Kespro.

3. Ordering Details

Kespro allows ordering with the regular capabilities of a supplier integration.

 

4. Onboarding

  1. You must be a Kespro customer.
  2. Inform Kespro that you want to make your Kespro products available in Apicbase and place orders from Apicbase.
    1. Contact Kespro customer service or your Kespro account manager, and CC integrations@apicbase.com. Kespro will then contact Apicbase to set up the integration.
  3. Obtain your Kespro account credentials if you do not yet have them.
  4. Request access to Kespro’s Tarjooma service (product selection tool).
  5. In Tarjooma, create the product list you want to use in Apicbase. Select that list to be shared with Apicbase. The next day, your catalogue will appear in Apicbase.
  6. Once the catalogue is available, you can start ordering. If you need order confirmations to be sent to a specific email address, contact Kespro customer service or your account manager.
  7. Accessing Tarjooma:
    1. Visit https://www.kespro.com/ and log in. When Tarjooma access is enabled, the Tarjooma icon will appear in the top-right menu.
    2. You can edit your Tarjooma list at any time. Kespro ensures that all product details and prices are shared automatically with Apicbase, keeping your catalogue up to date.
  8. Ordering activation:
    1. The assortment sync ID = the Kespro customer number linked to the product list.
    2. For ordering, request the ordering identifier from Kespro (via your account manager or elisa.nystrom@kesko.fi).
