1. General Information

  • Scope: DSSI is a US-based procurement platform used widely across senior living, healthcare, and multi-location foodservice operations. The integration between DSSI and Apicbase enables customers to receive customer-specific assortments (via their associated suppliers, such as Sysco US) and place integrated orders directly from Apicbase. This connection streamlines purchasing workflows for operators in the United States who procure through DSSI.

2. Product Assortment

  • Assortment Type: Customer-specific. The assortment in Apicbase includes only the items made available to the customer in their DSSI account. The assortment integration currently covers Sysco US products available through DSSI.
  • Assortment Management: to modify your assortment (add or remove articles), you must contact your Account Manager at DSSI.
    • Note that asking your account manager to delete an item from the assortment doesn't delete it from Apicbase, it only makes the article unorderable. You can archive it manually in Apicbase if necessary.
  • Prices: as agreed by contract with the supplier for the corresponding products, otherwise the standard price indicated by DSSI.

3. Ordering Details

DSSI allows ordering with the regular capabilities of a supplier integration.

4. Onboarding

To activate the DSSI integration, you must have a DSSI account. To get onboarded with this integration, please contact your CS Manager. They will guide you through the necessary steps to set up the integration.
